This site is about my interest in Trainz, a railway simulation program.

After some forty-five years of railway modelling, mainly in British OO and N gauges but with some forays into O gauge and small and large scale narrow gauge, I was presented with Trainz for my 75th birthday in 2006. Since then my modelling – routes (or layouts) and models – has been exclusively computer based, and this website shows what I have done during the past ten years or more.

Trainz – describes the Trainz railway simulation program.

Routes – describes routes or layouts which I have constructed.

Textures – describes textures for creating ground effects which I have published.

Models – gives an overview of the models I have made available for sharing.

Plans – discusses my thoughts on using model railway plans as a basis for routes.

VMRs – describes using Trainz to create a virtual model railway.

Project 1073 – describes my latest virtual model railway.

Glossary – defines a number of terms used by Trainz.

Gallery – shows a selection of screenshots of some of my models.

NOTE – this web site is in course of construction. Not all links necessarily work at present but progress will be made as and when time permits.
